Background
Edenaj, founded by Kobby and Lily Bandoh, merges the medical and fashion industries by offering retail medical scrubs with African print and design accents. Their slogan, "Where Functionality Meets Fashion and Heritage," reflects their mission to celebrate cultural heritage through stylish and practical medical apparel. The brand name combines "Eden," representing the divine presence of God, with "AJ," the initials of the founder's mother, symbolising divine inspiration and maternal homage.

Our Process
To begin, we conducted thorough research to understand Edenaj’s challenges and this allowed us to determine how to communicate their values and mission. We created a memorable logo that blends medical professionalism with cultural motifs, using a stylized African pattern symbolising heritage and modern lines representing functionality. The colour palette combines sophisticated shades of grey, black, and white with vibrant African prints, reflecting both professionalism and cultural vibrancy. The custom font family reflects the brand’s boldness and minimalism, ensuring readability and aesthetic appeal.

The new logo became a symbol of Edenaj’s unique blend of style, comfort, and cultural heritage. The chosen colours foster emotional connection and credibility, bridging the gap between functionality and fashion. The custom font family gives a distinct voice to the brand, reinforcing its bold, corporate, cultural, and minimalist personality.
